¡Hola familias de Acorn Woodland!
Mi nombre es Maira Lopez, pueden llamarme Ms. Lopez o maestra Lopez. He tenido la suerte de ser parte de esta maravillosa comunidad durante 8 años. Comencé como maestra suplente, luego enseñé segundo grado durante 3 años, y este es mi 5to año en Kinder.
Mis padres son de México, pero yo nací y crecí en Oakland Ca. Me gradué de la universidad Estatal de Cal State East Bay, donde recibí mi título en desarrollo infantil.
Vivo con mi esposo y mi hijo de 10 años. En mi tiempo libre me gusta ir a explorar el aire libre. También me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia. Realmente disfruto enseñar porque tengo la oportunidad de hacer que el aprendizaje sea divertido para los demás.
Estoy emocionado de comenzar el año escolar para conocer y aprender sobre ustedes.

My name is Maira Lopez, you can call me Ms. Lopez or teacher Lopez. I have been fortunate to be a part of this wonderful community for 8 years. I started out as a substitute teacher, then taught 2nd grade for 3 years, and this is my 5th year in Kindergarten.
My parents are from Mexico, but I was born and raised in Oakland Ca. I graduated from Cal State East Bay State where I received my degree in child development.
I currently live with my husband and my 10 year old son. In my free time I like to go exploring the outdoors. I also love spending time with my family. I really enjoy teaching because I get to make learning fun for others.
I am excited to start the school year to meet and learn about you.
